Game Over

I lost the date. I don't really know if its been a day or more, the mountain's making the light here wonky. We've been trying to leave every moment we could before the tundra goes pitch black, but M- ..KAL. He keeps threatening that he'll never work again.

I fixed his book, he's only missing ONE page. Yet the stupid wolf- sudge- What- WHATEVER HE IS- he doesn't want to leave. I HAVE TO LEAVE.

"I'm going to starve if you keep me all cooped up in here Kal!" Lazy screamed upon throwing her satchel at the large hell hound. "You keep me here- for what?"

"One last page is missing, and we need to find it now or your power is going to fade as well."

"I'd rather lose my powers than starve." upon, night again made the walls turn black. Lazy grew quiet as her partner faded from her sight, as if she went blind. "I'd rather live."

The thick wood creaks as the white eyes of Kal give him a light to go by. He drags the satchel along, it made Lazy step back. "And then we'll lose my final page. Game over."

Quarrel

"You so suck." Lazy pronounces upon eating  her last slice of pie. The crazy thing that comes from her book looked like a big black dog.

"W-We-hi-Well at LEAST I didn't F-fuc- up an- and RUIN... my. my book."

"Your book? That freaking book I found in the Royal Crystal Empire Library? I should have left you on that stupid shelf."

"You nee-h-you need meee.." Kal looked smashed by the small cider bottle it gripped in its grubby claws, Lazy stared and scowled when the hound threw the empty bottle and grabbed the another from the false floorboard next to it.

"I never needed you. I knew how to write with my mouth. You called me, you begged me to pick you up."

"You still picked me up. Now we're bonded dear niece."

"Shut up-" Lazy tore off her scarf and had it pinned under her hoof. "I am NOT your niece. I am a stupid REINCARNATION of that stupid princess."

"... I loved her, she was the only one that didn't fear my size, my growl, my.. she was wonderful." it dropped the half full cider bottle, the content spilling out on the moldy oak floor. "How could such a monster take her away? She wasn't ready at all-"

"For death? To be forcefully shoved into a odd one out?"

"She wasn't ready for immortality! She didn't grow into the power and he-HIC- HER FATHER KNEW IT-" Kal rolled over to it's belly and wept in her drunken rage. "The BAs- he was my brother! I-I trusted the bloody monster!"

Twelve pages filled with a backstory so complex, it just attracts mary sues by just opening the freaking book. No, just- just having the book in the same building.

"Yer now a Mary, Lazy Sketch. Take it with pride."

"Not now Kal."

Realization

Mother of Celestia. Back then two ruled, one was the father of the missing princess. another was a so called uncle. Twin kings sent to rule the place since they were kind of called upon the princesses themselves. But the true rulers of the Crystal Empire were again- two alicorn sisters.

AND WHOOP DE DOO

ONE

WAS CALLED

DULL DIAMOND.

But she called herself Radiant Diamond because Dull is what her MOM named her. The other is our current ruler, a turned pegasus, turned back into alicorn princess Cadence.

And guess what- guess what my name is.

I hope to Celestia that my mother just named me Dull diamond because she hated me. I hope.

Little

Two pages is all I want. One was found outside and it's in okay condition, seeing it as the opening to hexes and dark little secrets that honestly- I'm glad I'm reading now. Things were messed up during his time, some princess- yada yada- Sombra's little backstory- wait Sombra was-

Why.

why didn't I read this sooner.

3-8-15

Some creature dropped off my book. Kal is slightly different than I remember, he tried hiding but his sense of direction is gone. He just lays down on the empty house floor we're in and he can barely talk. I checked his book and and see the damage that's affecting him. Some of his pages were ripped out and some are blotched out with ink, some pages smudged out with the snow.

He trying. Kal is doing his best to move.

I fear that the book is now beyond repair.

And I have no idea where the missing pages are. Everything is ripped apart, and tangled and mangled. I counted every page yet everything that's breaking Kal's movement and vision is a bunch of smudged pages and three torn out pages. Three. The rest I can clean up, rebuild. But without those three pages, Kal isn't able to move.

3-6-15

I hate life. I lost the book to some bucking ass who wanted to see the pages. The words don't make sense in there. Nothing makes sense in that stupid book. It's written in ancient crystal ruins. And the last decoder for that was destroyed when Sombra took power. Even then I can't do anything. Kal is gone, my powers are fading, and my 'friends' that I've made had gone off and abandoned me. Maybe. Last they saw me was when the mountain we passed caved in and they watched me go TIMBER. Along with things getting worse, I can't feel one of my legs. I can barely lean on it because it crumples every time I put more than one pound on my backside so now I literally dragging a leg down a tundra. There's been no others so far.

A small collection of buildings are downhill but I suspect that nopony lives down there. But I still trek on.
